Best clam chowder in the area. I would say it's even better than splash cafe in Pismo. Nothing better than a bread bowl full of their chowder. They also have sandwiches and snow cones and ice cream. It's nice little cafe that great to hang out and talk. The owner is always so friendly and helpful.

I've always been a big fan of downtowns and the businesses and restaurants that occupy these downtown areas in a given town. Reedley Sandwich Shop is a neat sandwich shop and cafe in downtown Reedley. They feature a nice assortment of sandwiches, soups, and salads as well as a coffee bar with pastries.
I went with the 1/2 sandwich and soup combo (Veggie, Chili). The sandwich was nicely made and had a great balance of flavors. Also....the chili was rich and satisfying and chock full of meat. I look forward to returning and trying their pastries and coffee. -

The Reedley Sandwich Shop is an old, favorite haunt of mine. The clam chowder is absolutely the best clam chowder I've ever had - and that's saying something considering I've lived along the coast for about 3 1/2 years. The chowder is creamy, with a tinge of spiciness. The toast is out-of-this-world - cheesy, crispy, toasted to perfection. I'm getting hungry just writing this! Always make sure you order two or more extra pieces of toast if you order the large instead of a bread bowl. Thank me later! The restaurant is clean and is nicely decorated. The wait staff has always been kind to me, and has been nice enough to run over and clear the table at the end of our meal even though the restaurant is set up so that you can throw away your own trash. A real gem in Reedley - I look forward to every visit!

Love this family owned sandwich shop! Best clam chowder we've had in years and the sandwiches are fresh and filling! We're sure to be back next time we are in town. Highly recommend!
